TÁTAKE!-TAIKO

Taiko is a Japanese form of drumming in which posture and movement form the basis of the rhythms that are drummed. The drums are often very large drums made of wood and cattle hides. Their low piercing sounds convey an energy that goes straight to the gut.

The organization ”Tátake!-Taiko” was created to make Taiko known and passed on in our region. They do this through lessons , workshops , corporate events and concerts. The in-house developed method of playing, called SHIZEN, is unique and is based on natural postures, movements and relaxation.
